When people meet me they like to say, “Jean is my grandmother’s name.” And I like to say, “It was the most popular name in 1932.”

I am a product of the Rust Belt. Buffalo, to be exact. I had an ice rink in my backyard and I call a lake “the beach.”

I’ve spent the past sixteen years obsessing about making good work. For the past eight or so, I’ve been lucky enough to lead amazing teams while doing that. I need everything to make sense and be deeply entertaining. And okay, if the occasional campaign goes viral and upsets a world leader or two, I don’t object.
